Is there any noise and temperature difference between those two? I was scrolling goodle for few hours but found only review from GN and after that bunch of random results in comments where ppl were complaining for GB cooling and 100+C edge temp.
From your perspective if you have enough big case like me and its just about model would you pick Pulse or GB gaming OC model?
Between the two, I would suggest Sapphire Pulse as it is a better made card and has no issues with temperature and performance.

Go for the Sapphire Pulse because it is an all-rounder in all aspects whether it is performance, cooling, build quality and features.

B450 motherboards are a good choice for Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 processors if you are on a budget. What processor are you planning to get?

Great.One point that you should keep in mind that make sure that the B450 motherboard you are getting has an updated BIOS to support Ryzen 3rd generation processors.

I would suggest Sapphire RX 5700 XT Pulse because of its solid build quality, performance and is relatively compact. Also, it is one of the coolest and quietest running RX 5700 XT cards. XFX Radeon RX 5700XT Thicc II Ultra looks good but is pretty wide and thick card that may cause clearance issues. Moreover, it does have some fan speed issues which I think is sorted out in the new GPU BIOS.

You told that between the Nitro + and the Pulse you would go with the pulse.
May i ask you why?
In my country (Brasil), the Nitro + cost 2.600 “moneys” and the Pulse 2.300 “moneys”.
The Pc I’m putting together is:
Asus TUF gaming plus x570, ryzen 7 3800x, 32gb (2×16) 3600mhz from TeamGroup and a Samsung monitor 27′, curved, 144hz, 1ms, FullHd with VA panel.
Because pulse is cheaper, compact and has sufficient cooling.

Go for the Sapphire RX 5700 XT Pulse.
The only thing kepping me back from getting a 5700xt is the horrible drivers and i can’t bother fixing it every 10 days

Hey brother! I’ve been wandering whether the xfx radeon rx 5700 xt thicc III is great or it’ has the same issues as the II?Also what do you think that there is a big difference between the ultra and the non ultra version of III?(I have ryzen 7 3700x)
I don’t think it has issue like thicc II regarding fan speed because even in thicc II issue was fixed through BIOS update. Well, the ultra version has higher GPU clock and if the price difference is not much then buying the ultra makes sense, otherwise not. The card is good but is pretty wide and bulky, so make sure that your case has enough clearance for it. Some great alternatives to it are the SAPPHIRE PULSE RX 5700XT and PowerColor Red Devil Radeon RX 5700 XT.

Visiontek is a pretty decent brand. I would avoid all of them because of not so good cooling performance. The cards I suggest are Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 XT GAMING OC 8G or SAPPHIRE PULSE RX 5700 XT. However, the Taichi one has better cooling than the rest of the cards you have listed.

Sapphire one is equally good and you can go with it. Don’t pay extra premium for the same GPU because both cards are equally good.

Yes, you can go with RTX 2070 Super. Nvidia has better drivers and RTX 2070 is slightly faster then RX 5700 XT (in most games).

Using a 65 inch 4K TV as monitor, I like to play games in full 4K at 60 fps.
I have noticed 1440p is recommended for RX 5700 XT but I regularly get over 60 fps in full 4K.
Although I havent seen this card go head to head with any other card, I do believe it just tips me over the edge into 4K territory.
It can do 4K easily @ 60FPS in less demanding titles but in latest AAA games, 1440p is recommended for 60 FPS or more.

GPU often offer dual fan or triple fan setup (AMD or NVIDIA). Does triple fan works better than the dual counterpart in terms of performance? Taking Sapphire 5770xt Nitro and Pulse as an example. if we compare them side by side. is paying the extra few bucks for nitro worth it?
Generally, triple fan cooling works better unless the card has a crappy heatsink design. Between pulse and nitro RX 5700 XT, I would go with the pulse version because it runs almost as cool as the nitro one and offers the same performance at a lower price. Gaming Performance is almost the same if the cards do not overheat. For heatsink design, look for things such as higher number of heatpipes, copper base, more fins.
